What a journey it has been. I was getting worried that I was unknowingly working on my Doctorate in Procrastination for a while this summer. Finding the motivation to study was definitely not easy. I studied anywhere from 15 minutes to probably over 12 hours a day when it got to the day before the exam. I was completely exhausted and had a pounding headache after the 125 question, 3 hour exam. I am glad it is over and that the results were good.
Between all the studying I had three job interviews and two offers. I will be working for Carolina Nutrition Consultants as a consulting dietitian starting out at several different long term care facilities in the area. I am very excited to start this next part of my life.
To top off all the career excitement, I also got engaged on August 2nd, the night before my two week trip home to Wisconsin. There was no studying. Just fun with family and friends plus the very beginnings of wedding planning. 10/6/12 is the big day!
